This is becoming my bi-monthly update blog. Simply too lazy to do anything about it. Well, here are some updates in my life that occurred not too far in the past.
8th Jul - Won 2nd prize in the National Japanese Speaking Contest (woohoo!)LCD TV!
10th Jul - School started at Hartford Institute
Basically, school started and i WAS psyched. However, 2nd week into school term and i'm getting tired. I guess i'm just not used to the schedule. Although it may seem like a slack, the lessons are 3 hours straight! What's worse is having a lecturer that has an accent that less than 1/3 the class can understand. Hope this 3 month period will be smooth sailing...
Hmm... My classmates come mainly from S.E Asia and so far most of my friends are from Myanmar, Indonesia, Vietnam, India and Ukraine. It's wonderful making friends of different nationality coz' you get to broaden your contacts. Also, I get complimented alot on my English (HA HA) coz' they don't speak it that well.
Daily trips to Bugis is just so tiring. The journey takes 45 min and i have to do so twice a day! The total time adds up to 1.5 hours and that's like half my lesson time already. Luckily i'm only taking 1 semester. I seriously am considering SIM after my semester here.
Today, someone popped the question: 'Hey Amanda, are you attached?' and i was like '... No...' Hah, and my goodness was she surprised. Apparently, in my school most of the students are attached. (Ok, my bad for not having a bf) Not that i mind but suddenly she just reminded me of my biological clock - NO i don't a baby now but hey, perhaps it's time to go looking for a bf. Like my friend says, i should be the initiator. Hah. Since when am i the type to initiate to guys? That's something to think about eh?
Which brings me to the topic of very droolicious caucasian hunks. Yesterday (tues) while i was taking the mrt home, I saw (and BUMPED) into this UBER HOT caucasian. Honestly, 1 look at him and i thought my eyeballs would pop right out of my socket and not to mention i would die of a nose hemorrhage. I actually smiled STUPIDLY to myself for accidentally bumping into his shoulders (awww those delicious shoulders) *faints* Gosh, yijia tells me i will see one like that again and jas tells me that i'm crazy but hey! I think i'll never see him again and that makes me soooo depressed. Somebody, please CHEER me up!!!
Ok, i miss my poly friends, my sec sch friends and jas. Luckily darling jas is coming over to have dinner with me and make me more lively. Not to mention being my pin slave. HEH HEH. gomen ne, yan chan!
Well, time to go take a nap! can't guarantee when i'll blog again but hopefully soon!
